Melita Pharmacy, St. Julians - Bloggers event | Lourdes Gio

Hello my fellow readers,

I was invited to attend to a blogger event at Melita Pharmacy in St. Julians. When we entered we were greeted by the amazing team of Melita and were offered some nibbles and drinks. I loved reconnecting with and meeting Maltese bloggers.

This event was held to show us all the new products and ranges available at the Pharmacy. Below you can find a list of these:

They have also just brought to Malta the brand Wet n Wild which I am so grateful for as I love this brand, they have very cheap makeup and its of very good quality.

These are some photos I took on the day:

And some photos that they took of us bloggers:

Thank you for the goodie bag, I had already started testing some of these products out:

And this is what I bought, will definitely go again and buy some more items:

I love the highlighter, and the lipstick has such a gorgeous colour.

Above all I would like to thank Melita Pharmacy for the invite and the lovely night, had so much fun!

Hope you liked this post. If you did, make sure to follow me on the blog and also like and follow my Facebook page.

Charles and Ron Fashion Show - Amare Argentum

Hello my fellow readers,

On the 30th of September I attended the Charles and Ron fashion show at Birkirkara Square. The event began with the two Birkirkara bands playing together and later on in the evening the fashion show started.

Charles and Ron showed the Autumn/Winter collection which goes by the name of Amare Argentum. The collection was filled with colours but the most colours that stood up where the blues and purples.

I love how there are a lot of different materials in the collection and how a lot of items are versatile and can be worn both during the day and night. The print of Maltese filigree was also used on most of the garments. I really like how they included lace, sequins and tulle in the collection. Oh! and the bags and shoes are to die for <3

I loved every thing but these next ones are my favourites:

A big thanks to jciapparaphotography / jciappara.com for the above photos.

This is what I wore for the show:

As always the duo impressed all of us. It was my first time seeing this collection in person and I was amazed, its even nicer from the pictures. I would like to congratulate Charles and Ron for their hard work and also on the newest (and previous) collection that they just showed in New York and Los Angeles.

Hope you liked this post. If you did, make sure to follow me on the blog and also like and follow my Facebook page

3INA Products Review | Lourdes Gio

Hello my fellow readers,

As a lot of you might know 3INA is a makeup brand that is available in Malta, with four stores including one in Qormi, Mosta, Sliema and Valletta.

I have had some products from them for a while and always wanted to review them. So here is a review about all four products that I have purchased.

Cream Eyeshadow (Dark brown - 314):
I love the cream eyeshadow! first of all let's talk about the amazing colours they have, and I am not only talking about the cream eyeshadows. I was a bit late to the cream eyeshadow craze and I never looked back since I bought one of my own. Don't get me wrong, I still prefer normal compact eyeshadow over the cream one but my point is that I find this really good. When I was looking at what colour I should get, I couldn't decide because I liked every single one of them.

I like how the product sets in very easily and will stay on your eyelids for hours. But I also don't like the fact that it dries a bit quickly on the eye and doesn't give you time for blending it in correctly. I like to wear it on top of an eyeshadow base for better results and to last longer. This cream eyeshadow can be worn either on its own or underneath a compact/powdered eyeshadow.

Eyeshadow (Rose gold - 111):
Lately I have been liking a lot the neutral tones for eyeshadow. I immediately fell in love with the colour and had to buy it. The eyeshadow is very pigmented and its a good formula. There is not a lot to say about this, apart that its great and am looking forward to try other colours.

Lipstick (Burgandy - 111):
If you come to see my makeup collection you will find multiple dark colored purples and reds and burgandies, this is because I just love these colours!
The lipstick is quite good, it is shiny and a bit glossy but a very nice strong colour. The down side is that it is not long lasting at all. Last time I wore it, by the first half hour the inner sides of my lips were already very faded out and when I drank and ate something it all came off.

Nailpolish (Burgandy - 138):
Just like lipsticks, I own a lot of burgandy coloured nail polish. I bought the nail polish and the lipstick the exact same colour to match. The polish is very good and mostly, one application would be enough for the colour to show. It lasts about 4 days on my nails, which is mostly how much all of my nail polishes last.

Over all I like the brand and am looking forward to try other items from 3INA. Whats your favourite product from this brand?

Thank you for reading,

So there is a new online store opening next Thursday, these are some of the items they will be offering:
