Desiree Boutique Launch and new collection

Hello my fellow readers,

Yesterday I was invited at the newly opened boutique by the designer Desiree. When I stepped in I was happily greeted by Desiree herself. The shop is very nice and cosy, it welcomes you with beautiful designs and creations. Apart from being an interior designer, she also makes designs on shoes, bags and cushions which she customizes herself.

Her new collection (for A/W 2016/17) consists of shoes and bags with the paisley design and motivational quotes.
'Don't stop dreaming', 'One life, live it', 'Drive your passion' and 'forever fearless' are all motivational quotes written on lip-shaped bags. As Desiree said, "These quotes are what women should hear more often". Some creations where also made on acrylic handbags and others with the shoes and bag with matching designs. The collection is filled with a variety of colours.

FALL OOTD

Hello my fellow friends, welcome back!

Since we are in Fall I thought that I would make an outfit post for you. 

So today I went out with my family and it was quite a lovely day although it got a little cloudy. The weather is always changing and the heat hasn't completely left us so I still wanted to wear something light. 

The top (from F&F) is very light and filled with colourful flower patterns. the good thing about it is that you can also adjust the lengths of the sleeve; So lets say it got a bit chillier, I could just roll the sleeves down.
The pair of jeans I am wearing (from Terranova) are most probably my favourite pair. These jeans are very stretchy and comfortable and are also ripped.
That rose gold watch I bought from ebay for a very reasonable price.
Both my white pearl earrings and my small cute pink clutch bag are from the local market.
And lastly those shoes! They are white heels with an adjustable strap (from New Look).

Saints,love and Mediterranean lights

Last Saturday, (8th October, 2016)  I had the chance to witness the breathtaking F/W 2016 collection entitled "Saints,love and Mediterranean lights" by Charles & Ron. The designers hosted this show together with the Birkirkara local council and Hospice Malta. The event took place in Saint Helen Square, Birkirkara, the designer's hometown. 
The show was accompanied by the two Birkrkara band clubs: Duke of Connaught's Band Own and Saint Helen Band.

Charles & Ron were fascinated by the colourful lights that lit the church during the local Birkirkara feast. These lights can be seen in a couple of their designs. They also included St.Helen's crown in some other designs. The colours: Cardinal Pink, Saffron Yellow and Warm Red mixed with black made the pieces to stand out. Along with different materials the designers definitely made the designs unique. 

Some models also walked out with bags included in this collection. These bags are so beautiful and different in so many levels. They are colourful just like the clothes but they also have studs, are made with different materials and a variety of sizes. My two favorite bags have to be the 'Saint' one and the 'Mini Queen' bag.
