Valentini Show 2017 Bridal Collection at Camilleri Paris Mode.

Last Week I attended the Valentini bridal showcase hosted by Camilleri Paris Mode.

The show consisted of various wedding dresses made with different materials, colours and embellishments. I especially liked the ones which were Ivory and Blush coloured.  There was also a variety of different lenght dresses such as long and high-low.

The models walked through the Rabat shop to show the guests the dresses they were wearing.

Some of the beautiful dresses were embellished with beads and buttons that made them look very elegant and sophisticated, just to make your wedding truly special.

Also on display there was a very large variety of different types of occasional fabrics, dresses and beautiful shoes. 

Here the bride-to-be finds everything she needs to make her big day a memorable one! Even sugar almonds in unusual colours!

Mercedes-Benz Malta Fashion Week Day 4 and Chamilia Fashion Awards - PARASCANDALO

Tuesday the 17th of May, the first show at the Mercedes-Benz Malta Fashion Week was that by Marco Parascandalo. His new collection was also showcased on the 21st of May at the Chamilia Malta Fashion Awards 2016.

Marco Parascandalo is a local fashion designer from Vittoriosa. He first showcased his ready to wear collection named SKANDLU at MFWA 2014. Last year he showcased his second collection titled 

IN THE SKY. All of his collections are wearable and durable.  He also integrates aspects of Maltese culture, politics and environmental issues in his clothing.

His first ever collection was mainly for men but in the last two collections he added some pieces for women. His latest collection included jumpsuits and playsuits, t-shirts and shirts, dresses, shorts and swimsuits. This year the main colour was black but he added a little bit of orange for the pieces to pop out. Also on most of the items, badges and patches with SKANDLU written on then with white thread made the pieces much more unique.  Different types of fabrics were used in Marco's collection such as sheer and t-shirt material. Ribbons were added to the pieces to make them stand out, in fact some of them also had PARASCANDALO written on them.
